Job Purpose
As the General Manager/Head of Sales for South Korea, you will be responsible for establishing and expanding Trade Tech’s presence in South Korea. This role requires deep knowledge in global trade, shipping, logistics, and technology, particularly in the context of logistics software solutions and also a strong understanding of the local market.
Responsibilities
- Establish Trade Tech’s office in South Korea, focusing on promoting our logistics software solutions.
- Apply your expertise in global trade and logistics technology to develop strategies that meet the unique needs of the South Korean market.
- Engage with carriers, BCOs, and other key stakeholders in the logistics and shipping industry to build relationships and understand market needs.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends in global trade and logistics to inform business strategies.
Qualifications
- Solid background in sales or business development with a strong emphasis on global trade, shipping, logistics, and technology.
- Experience or familiarity with logistics software solutions and their application in a global trade context.
- Understanding of the South Korean market and its logistics and technology sectors.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
