This solution supports ocean freight stakeholders—including freight forwarders, NVOCCs, carriers, and logistics providers—by enabling compliant and efficient submission of containerized cargo information to the UAE’s National Advance Information Center (NAIC) at least 24 hours before vessel departure from the last foreign port. Trade Tech ensures a structured and reliable filing process to meet regulatory requirements while minimizing operational overhead.
We are expanding our footprint in the UAE and are seeking industry professionals with experience in ocean freight or logistics who are looking to transition into software sales and marketing for the transportation sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute a sales strategy to expand Trade Tech’s presence in the UAE, focusing on MPCI compliance solutions for ocean freight stakeholders.
- Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Identify, engage, and build relationships with freight forwarders, logistics providers, carriers, and NVOCCs to position Trade Tech as the preferred compliance technology partner.
- Market Development: Drive adoption of Trade Tech’s MPCI solution within the UAE logistics and shipping ecosystem, leveraging regulatory change to identify and capture new business opportunities.
- Industry Representation: Represent Trade Tech at relevant industry events, trade shows, and working groups to elevate brand visibility and build strategic connections.
- Collaborative Execution: Partner with internal teams—product, marketing, and customer success—to ensure seamless client onboarding and feedback integration.
- Sales Performance: Meet or exceed sales targets by managing a healthy pipeline, converting leads, and developing long-term client relationships.
Key Requirements
- Industry Expertise: Strong experience of 5+ years in ocean freight, logistics services, or Customs compliance, with the desire or ability to sell software solutions to logistics companies, carriers, and NVOCCs.
- MPCI Knowledge: Understanding of the UAE’s Maritime Pre-Load Cargo Information program and its implications for compliance is a strong advantage.
- Market Understanding: Solid knowledge of the UAE logistics and trade environment, including key players and regulatory developments.
- Sales Acumen: Proven ability to develop qualified leads, close complex deals, and manage strategic accounts.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders in compliance, operations, and IT.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is required.
- Self-Motivated: Independent, driven, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with limited supervision.
